A new beginning...

The male wandered around the forest. The leaves crunched under his paws every step. The cool winds around him tickled his nose. His ears were relaxed upon his head. There was nothing to fear here. There were no hostile scents or immediate danger nearby. He finally found himself a home and a family.

It seemed as though the forest was frozen in time. There were no bird chirps or rustling of the bushes. No prey around to be seen. It hadn't been too long since he had last devoured a delicious meal. His stomach growled as he came to a slow halt. 'Not again?' he thought to himself. Hunting is difficult when you are alone, when there is no teamwork. He dreamed of biting the flesh of a young buck. The image of running with other wolves brought a smirk to lips. Then there was always the victorious howl he had shared with his pack long ago.

The rumble from his belly woke him from his day dream. "Alright, let's see what I can find," he muttered to himself. His nose sank close to the ground, smelling the leaves, grass, rocks, and anything else that would leave a scent of a tiny woodland creature. He walked slowly, following his nose until finally he found a small, but very distinct scent. He followed it until he reached the source of such a delectable smell. He licked his chops as he positioned himself downwind of the creature. He didn't want to lose his technique to surprise the little guy. He hid behind a bush and peered through an opening. A tiny fawn had lost it's mother. 'Oh how sad,' he thought to himself as he positioned for the attack. His body dropped low to the ground as he slowly moved forward. He was careful not to make a sound or sudden movement, which would be unnecessary. His golden brown orbs aimed at the target, never losing sight.

Finally, when he was in perfect position, he pounced on the fawn, biting and gnawing at the neck. Growls and snarls were emitted from is throat. As he tasted the blood, he was thrown into a blood frenzy, shaking the creature until it lay lifeless in his jowls. As the fawn hit the floor, he dared not allow his mouth to leave the fresh kill. It had been a long time since he tasted deer on his lips. Most days he was lucky to find a rather large hare. He began to eat the fawn, unaware of his surroundings, putting himself at a terrible disadvantage.

It was a perfect day once again as her dusky grey and white paws padded through the autumn leaves. She suddenly picks up a strong scent and the smell of blood. She snarls and drops her slender body to the crisp ground, slinking foward without a noise. Her eyes now a piercing amber, she creeped up to the smell, staring at a large male eating a fawn. She smirked to herself then creeped foward with graceful an silent steps. She sizes the male up and gets into a low postition. Her hind legs shove out powerfully, leaping through the air and landing on him. She smirks and stares into his eyes, pinning him down. "Good prey?" i ask with a sarcastic honey sweet voice.

The massive male scented her from yards away but he decided to play along since she îs in his Family and she had to admit she had a crush in her since he was a pup. The fear of being rejecting wouldn't let him confesse though he was happy with those ocassional moments they can spend together. The male stood put as the female leaped in him AMD pinned him down, his glowing bright vibrant bloody red gaze met hers, his gaze was like hypnotic as he parted his jawls tto respond her question, " Indeed, it was pleasant but not as pleasant as this." His voice echoes as it was in a high octave. The birds start to show themselves from where ever they where hidding AMD started to chirp their beautiful song, almost like a lullaby to his ears.
His bright red gaze never left hers as he was afraid he said to much and his secret was blown away, in a fraction of second he lifted his tail and cares her cheek, "You're beautiful." He said softly trying to change the subject so maybe she will forget what he first said to her.

She grins with perfect white fangs and rolls over, laying beside him. Her voice as sweet as silk, she replies "I enjoy these moments too, especially with you." i smile brilliantly. "You know, your very handsome.''

His vibrant blooded red orbs widened at her comments, couldnbebpossible that she could feel the same? It was like a milion of question were filling his mind in that moment and he remained silent for a few heartbeats wondering whatb he should say next or how he should react. He turned his muzzle to face her as she delicately layed next to him AMD glances into her beautifull orbs, remainig hypnotized for a bit. He likes her snout and a smiles ccrossed his face, he haven't smiles in a long time yet it was si easy when she was arround him. He felt like he was a magnet who wanted to pull closer to her, he was frightened yet this warm feeling he feels was pleasant. "Umm...." He tried to speak yet the words seemed like it won't came out, he remained silent as he caughed softly to clear his throat before he began to speak. "Sorrow..." He repeated her name and let it sit in his tongue like tasteing a delicate wine before he continued to add, "What do you feel when you are arround me.?" He ended his sentence in a low voice almost frightened of the rejection he will get from this mesmerizing fae.

Her eyes try to peel away from his magnificent gaze as she tries to speak. "I" she swallows, wondering if he wouldn't feel the same way. "I feel......" she trails off her voice turning into a mumble. She finally gets the courage and says in a soft, silky voice. ''Love...." the fae replies.

The ground was soft beneath him and the day was gentle, delicate even. Despite Cliffs having one of the best advantages in receiving plenty of breeze once out in the open and on high ground, his den always drew him in. A stealthy smirk crept up his handsome features. "Sorrow..." his deep alluring voice droned forth as his optics made contact with hers. Ears flicked at her voice, and he chuckled. He could play the nice man when he wanted to, but sometimes, it was genuine. And he was curious to hear about Sorrow's thoughts.
Turning around to face her, he nuzzled her nose with his as they both bathe in the sunlight. Deep gaze would land onto her eyes, his tones curious. "I also feel love. Do you think, it could be possible for us?" He expected a blunt yet shy reply from the woman, herself being a simply easy nut to crack and indeed, thus far, her spirit showed a lot of fight and character which stood out amongst many. Patiently, the brute would shift his body posture a little into a more comfortable position whilst waiting for her answer.
