Catalina Lineage

Before Auditioning For One Of The Following: Specify which wolf it is you're going for and make your audition no shorter than 10 lines of well developed role play. If you do earn the role you'll have to maintain competent writing with the minimum of 6 lines and remain active. No pressure. Please note that these descriptions are vague for a reason. It's just a rough base for the player to get a feel for what the individual's personality is all about and how they interact with other family members generally. Please read the full character descriptions and take notice of the specific name combination (more so for Dante and Fiero than the others) and the short family history found at the end of the page. In your audition try to at least capture the essence of the character you're trying out for and have fun with it. Just because there's a short paragraph written for each character doesn't mean there aren't aspects of it that aren't open to interpretation. Good luck.



Name: Dante Amidio Catalina

Description: A large brute of vibrant sandstone fur with thin layers of black and a muzzle masked in white around the mouth, chest, and ears alone. He possesses the signature long, elegant snout that most Catalina wolves have though unlike his siblings, his dominant fur color orange carries down the length of it to blend into the white around his coal black nose. His most striking features are his eyes which though are not as bright and fiery as his younger sister Maria's, his own pair of optics carry a more yellowy tinge than pure amber. Varying shades of the yellow carrying through his irises, darkening as it melts into the black pupils like streaks of lightning. He is a large male standing at 89 cm with a hulking mass of pure muscle on strong limbs, flawless proportions. Broad chested and strong shouldered he is a brick wall of power towering over his opponents making him a perfect pack guardian just as he was bred for. As Dante Amidio Catalina translates roughly along the lines of Eternal, Pure Demi-God this beast has grown into his own name nicely. Pure of heart and level headed he can't be persuaded from his own thoughts and feelings. A heart of gold inside a massive brute of muscle he appears almost god-like in appearance. Dante is silent by nature, a calm giant that rarely shows much emotion at all though as for all Catalinas his loyalty to his family is unquestionable. His silence has made him into a very skilled observer who can pick up on the tiniest details and body languages of others and judge their character accurately. Therefore knowing just who he can allow close to the royalties and who he must immediately cast off. He is often the most level headed in the room, slow to anger and aggression unless those close to him are endangered. He tends to avoid or settle conflict but if his siblings are the ones causing it he doesn't bother to intervene. Dante prefers to keep his opinions to himself unless asked otherwise though he is always willing to give advice to his brother and sister whether they want to hear it or not. A generous older brother, he concerns himself with his younger and more reckless siblings, never controlling their lives but occasionally breaking his quietness to guide them in a more beneficial direction. He does understand he must sometimes let them find their own ways and learn their own lessons if they refuse to heed his warnings. Between the two, Dante finds himself closer and shows rare affection to his sister Maria than his merciless brother named Fiero. As all the siblings contrast greatly from one another he occupies his time with his own thoughts focusing solely on his own work when his family is fairing fine enough. When choosing a mate he searches for truthful wolves with pure spirits and strong genes, showing affection but never over doing it in public. In battle he displays a surprising ferocity of speed and strength despite his large frame that would stun his enemies with experience and skill. He is a servant to the monarchy and more than likely their most trusted soldado. With his valor, loyalty, and intelligence how could he be anything else?

Description: Fiero Marques Catalina is a relatively average sized male standing at 83 cm lacking obvious resemblance to his other siblings, Dante and Maria. Unlike his brother and sister his beige fur is plastered with thick splotches of black that become rings near his neck and congregate into a single dark mask about the upper half of his cranium and fading out just below his eyes. The black ash never falling below his shoulders he is almost perfectly symmetrical. The familiar orange hue the other Catalinas carry can be found only in very faded patches on his narrow snout, neck, along his chest, underbelly, and his limbs. Not as stocky as Dante, Fiero is still a finely muscled specimen with admirable endurance and good speed. His eyes are dull in comparison to his siblings but their darkness is strangely equally captivating. The unique black lines that drip down from his eyes and curve back towards his cheek bones are his most definitive features. Just as Fiero implies this menace is savage, fierce, and wild. A true Marques being acutely in touch with his warlike tendencies that put him in line with Mars himself. Cruel in nature his humor is often dark and at the expense of others making him out to be a very satirical person in general, his outspokenness not so different from his own sister. Aggressive and merciless he isn't as short fused as Maria but once angered he carries a deep resentment towards the offender, holding a grudge as long as he needs to before he has the chance to retaliate. He is rarely friendly and though he unfailingly stands beside his family he avoids them as often as he can, happy to go about his own life in pursuit of his own goals. He doesn't get along with Dante because of his own spite, and though Maria likes to cause the same amount of conflict they somehow manage to find themselves at odds with each other. Fiero is a creature of stealth and cunning, always finding himself sneaking up on unsuspecting pack members without fail as if they're his prey and in most cases they very well may be. Cold hearted he has no room for sympathies and when seeking a mate he will possess and objectify them, forbidding another to so much as touch them as they become his alone. Unreadable emotions he ghosts about like a soulless monster romanticizing any female he finds worthy with powerful genes and wooing them with his hidden charisma and inescapable charm. Misunderstood but malevolent and vicious he will obey his superiors without much complaint but with him always carrying an air about him that makes others feel unsure of him. Insidious and mysterious many will find themselves questioning exactly how trustworthy and genuine Fiero Marques Catalina is.

Description: Ryder Ignacio Sierra is of average height standing around 75 cm she is built small with a thin body structure giving her an elegant appeal. Her eyes are a soft golden brown hue with such a tenderness to them she can ease a troubled mind in a single stare. Delicate but quick she is built for long distance and uses that skill to travel. Exploring is one of her favorite past times and she finds staying too long in one place bores her quickly. She is a gentle soul with a heart of gold, always looking after others affectionately with genuine concern. She would've made a great healer in her pack had they still been around but gathering herbs and treating broken wolves are one of her pleasures. Rarely will Ryder find herself making poor decisions and sneaking about with males she is not mated with. She is a female to be courted before she will settle down with the final suitor. Ryder is sweet and sticks to her beliefs strongly without any doubts about herself. Friendly and sweet in nature, Ryder makes quick friends easily without much effort. She is smart and not easily set off, she would rather keep her mouth shut when insulted than be immature enough to continue an argument. She sticks close to her brother Cortez keeping an eye on him almost always like a good older sister, protecting him and helping him along and out of trouble. Ryder Ignacio Sierra serves her high ranks obediently and often behaves likes a personal assistant, enjoying lending her time to accompany them about the territory on their duties. Like Celestina hints she is a heavenly female that floats around like an energetic cloud, respectful and courteous, a step just below nirvana.

Description: Cortez Ignacio Sierra is a short and stocky male standing around 78 cm he is predominantly composed of deep shades of grays and blacks in various sections of his coat. There is a steady pattern of black from his nose all the way down to his visibly black tipped tail. White covers the areas below his nose down his chest and along his under side. His monochromatic yellowy hues look almost like that of his cousin though Cortez's are solid in his iris and bright. Small and still young, this male is good natured but always finding himself in some kind of trouble. He's always trying to prove himself and often time that's exactly what gets him into sticky situations. He's a kind wolf that's very amiable around others, a social animal by default, but he knows how to stick up for himself just fine. He's not the brightest but he's good and always stands by his friends' sides ready to jump right into the nastiest of fights for them which his sister always finds a way to stop or get him out of them. He adores his sister Ryder and follows her whenever he's bored, nervous, or there's no other wolves he feels like hanging out with. Cortez sometimes finds Ryder's concern overbearing which has lead him to pursue making friends with other males in the pack, preferring to hang out with them and chase after pretty females. He's easily pressured and impressionable but he's always true to the wolves around him and looks up to the nobility around him. Easily awestruck, Cortez's sweet ways make him a wolf everyone finds themselves gravitating towards. Once he finds a mate he will be faithful until the end, never so much as catching the eye of another he is completely infatuated with the female that is his. Still inexperienced he fights with brute strength and sheer might but he will advance his skills quickly since practicing on pack mates for fun is his favorite activity other than hunting. Not always the smartest guy in the room Cortes Ignacio Sierra is not a male to underestimate.

Catalina Family:Catalina translates to "Pure" and that is exactly how prestigious this lineage is. A nomadic regime that found great wealth in their many alliances, providing protection, enforcing boundaries, and often acting as mercenaries for their allies' wars. It was a barracks that bred fearless killing machines. Though in some ways perceived as "honorable barbarians" this war loving family does have a loose creed or code of behavior for the most part unknown to even their closest allies. All born from nobility their fathers were trained to be top of the line soldiers to dominate the field with their size, strength, and knowledge while the mothers all held some sort of significant leadership role. In the case of Dante, Fiero, and Maria their mother was head of the high council which oversaw the direction of the pack and plotted strategic plans on the battlefield to assist in leading the pack to victory, aiding the soldiers by exposing details that they couldn't see while in combat. On the contrary their father was one of the top commanders whose specific duty was to guard their alphas at all times, flanking them on the front lines of the battleground to ensure no harm would come to them. Unfortunately both parents were slain in the last fray in which the Catalinas were called upon by several allies to group together and fight off a dictatorship sweeping across the region. The nomads accepted the challenge without hesitation for two major reasons: never had they been defeated and the lands they wandered were being threatened. Too young to participate, Dante was forced out of the combat to look after his siblings and a few elders away from the bloodshed as a precaution. A foreign scout from one of the allied packs returned with false information about strategy and numbers which lead to the Catalina forced being severely outnumbered and quickly over taken despite the incredible rate of fatalities they inflicted on their enemies. The nomadic tribe was decimated and the few that remained were separated when fleeing the area including three year old Dante, one year old Fiero, and several months old Maria. They haven't seen each other since.

Sierra Family: The Sierra family is one of complicated origins. Once they were members of the Catalina family until several of the noble offspring were married off to achieve important alliances, thus creating a new bloodline closely linked with the nomadic prestige. Unlike the Catalina regime, the Sierra family prides themselves on their mountainous domain hence the origin of their name. Strong but not well known for skilled fighters, this pack was more intellectually based where respect and good behavior were rewarded. Nothing like the obscenities and dark humor found in the cold barracks north east of there. Ryder and Cortes also lost their family when the Sierra pack was called to fight along side their brethren, but together the siblings learning was enforced. Pampered from their birth and thrown into the role of loners, they remembered that only with numbers could they survive and rise again. When their duel survival was over the two grew to be inseparable, Ryder taking on the role of a parent while Cortes developed into a strong male. This relationship would translate over into their new pack lives but their distant cousins would be completely unknown to them in alien ways.

Haha you seem cool. I'll be looking forward to roleplaying with you. As for the toxic green eyes? Fuck yeah, that sounds far better and contrasts better with his pelt. Your roleplay was more competent than I had hoped I would get so as long as it's approved by the King, Dante is yours. I did a shitty job on details because I was just trying to put all the characters on here by tonight so if there's any question you have about character development (I'm sure you fair just fine in that respect anyways) don't be afraid to ask! Treat him well, he is my favorite.

Yeah but I just wanted to have then done by last night so I didn't do as nice of a writing job as I could've. Either way it's good enough to give everyone a base of their basic character and still have enough space to let people play around with their personality. Thanks though.

Ryder glissaded across the land with such elegance no once could surpass. The female easily navigated around the dimmed woodland, her tender soft golden brown eyes caching the small rays of light that had begun to seep into the forest as she did. Quick on her feet, Ryder would soon exit the forest, a tender beam upon her maw. "I've got what I need," barked Ryder to herself, a pleasant tone present within each and every word. She took up what little herbs she had found and began to slink across the valley, her slender body giving her even a more elegant and feminine look. The effeminate wolf carefully placed the herbs on the sandy river banks near the forest she had found them. Ryder now pursued the plants with tender gaze. The female now turned her back to the plants, her brown and creamy pearl colored fur rippling in the breeze. Turning around, Ryder began taking a few steps into the fairly warm river. The river's flowing current a soft title wave yet a mighty Tsunami all at the same time. Never losing balance one step of the way, Ryder exited the river on the other riverbank.

Audition for Cortez Ignacio Sierra.
The small brute padded into the clearing, flicking his large auds. His yellowy hues searched the clearing for his sister, Ryder. His great personality gained him lots of friends. he spots his sister and leaps on her, pinning her down. "Give up yet?" He chuckled in a sarcastic tone. He loved to play around and tease his sis. He raced off, wanting to find some pups to play with. He found Oliver, and gently knocked him over with a large paw. Cortez was very short for his age, but that wouldn't slow him down. He rolled on his back, staring up at the Northern Lights(Aurora Borealis). His perfect fur of grey and white, with small mixes of tan shone in the brilliant light. He flicked his black tipped tail over his nose, playing around like a pup himself. His bright optics picked up on other wolves, then landed on Timber. He scanned Timber over then decided this wolf wasn't to be messed with, like himself. He dug his ivory claws into the earth, pulling himself up. He keeps searching, his eyes landing on Nova, then Maria, and then the King. He strolled over to a large pine, slumping down. His small, 78cm body exhaled slowly as he lifted his cranium to the air. His orbs closed, exhaling deeply. The long exhale turned into a deep howl, followed by other wolves' howls. He spotted a fae, a brilliant and beautiful one then shook his head. Only an image. He sniffed the air, sensing someone he knew was near. Just then his sister leaped at his head. He ducked, and she landed on her stomach. He laughed deeply, grinning. He lifts up onto his stubby legs, trotting out of the clearing. (Sorry, it' a bit weird....)

I'll give it to you on two conditions...

1.) Be faithful to the personality of the character. He's obedient to his pack always without question and he doesn't enjoy conflict. In other words, he's probably not going to start shit like Lunar and Nova did. No offense.

2.) You must remain active. Otherwise I'll be forced to remove your privileges to the character.

Other than that I think your example was good enough for the part. Though I may suggest that because he is a Sierra he'll be looking for an intellectually based pack that's relatively peaceful.

I will try my absolute best to role play this character. Do you recommend Vimur or Beinne? Thanks a lot anyway Maria.
